Wet iPhone? Water Damage Help in Mobile, AL

Dropped it in the pool, the toilet or the bay? Don’t panic, and don’t wait. The sooner a wet iPhone gets looked at for water damage, the better its chances. Many phones dry out and work great again without any new parts. When something does need replacing, it’s usually the battery or the charging port.

We come to you 24/7, including after-hours emergencies.

Do this right now

  • Get it out of the liquid and turn it off. Don’t keep checking if it works.
  • Unplug it and take off the case.
  • Wipe it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Hold it with the charging port facing down and tap it gently against your hand to let water drain out.
  • Call or text us at (251) 477-2730.

Don’t do this

  • Don’t charge it or plug in any cable or headphones while it’s wet.
  • Don’t put it in rice. Rice doesn’t pull water out of the inside, and the dust and starch can end up in the ports.
  • Don’t use a hair dryer, oven or other heat. Heat can damage the battery and screen.
  • Don’t push cotton swabs or paper towels into the charging port or speaker openings.

Salt water, pool water and sugary drinks are the worst, so call us as soon as you can for those.
